The Aspiring Scribe! Cynthia
|
|

|

March 30, 2003
Welcome! I'm Cynthia, an aspiring novelist. I've published broadcast scripts and technical information
through my corporation. But, like Amy Tan, I decided I want to spend my life writing what I want to write. My first success
is a mobile writing article on the web. However, the image above represents my desired future, after I pay my dues with years
of toiling for my craft. I'm in my pre-published novel phase (which means I'm still working on it). You'll find a few things
about me here. I've also included links to some of my favorite Web sites. I'll add more pages and information in the future.
In the meantime, enjoy your visit!

I'm a fiction writer and currently a member of the Romance Writers of America - Heart and Scroll chapter in central Illinois.
My theme is New York because that's where I came from, and I hope to return one day! I'm currently working on my first novel,
a romance involving a jealous sister, a dangerously obssessed model, and the perfect man (oh, yeah!).

My first online article was published on The Writer Gazette web site. I've provided a link to a good resource
for all types of writers. My article is titled "Writing On A Pocket PC." I hope you find it interesting and informational.

I was notified today by The Writer's Manual, a writer's web site, that I won a signed copy of a book titled
"A Conspiracy To Ponder" by Margaret I. Williams. She's a new writer and I look forward to reading her book. The Writer's
Manual is a sister site of The Writer Gazette.

I have a wide variety of hobbies. My most useful is needlecraft. I sew fashions, cross stitch, and I particularly enjoy
machine embroidery. I'm learning to play the guitar and piano. Computing on the Pocket PC is another fun but expensive hobby.
And, of course, I love fiction writing.
