Trombonist, Brian Troiano is a versatile musician who is comfortable
playing both classical and popular music.
His performance experience includes the Broadway productions of Mary Poppins
and Hairspray, the orchestra for the 2006 Gypsy of the Year Competition on Broadway, the Gramercy Brass Orchestra (NYC),
the Rhode Island Philharmonic, the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, the Ocean State Lyric Opera (RI), the Wayne Chamber Orchestra
(NJ), the Opera Music Theatre International Orchestra (NJ), the Fenway Trombone Quartet (Boston), the Gordon Jacob Trombone
Concerto with the New England Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Cruise Line Showbands and the Walt Disney World
All-American College Band. He has performed with the international tour of the musical, Fosse and the national
tours of the musicals, Oliver!, The Music Man, Ragtime and Annie. Brian has played
over 30 musicals on Broadway, on major tours and at well-known theatres such as the Gateway Playhouse. He has performed
in 48 of the 50 United States, Washington D.C., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Bermuda, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales,
France (Paris) and Greece (Athens). He has also performed with entertainers such as Ben Vereen, John Lithgow, the Temptations,
Patti LuPone, Nell Carter, Victor Borge and Arlo Guthrie, as well as British stars, including Ruthie Henshall and Claire Sweeney.
Brian holds music degrees from William Paterson University and New
England Conservatory.
