El Camino Real Conquistadors 13, Banning Pilots 11

Banning got to the championship after upsetting two-time defending champion Kennedy in the semifinals the day before, and El Camino Real came to Dodger Stadium with an uninspiring 19-10 record.

In the second inning, Banning used two walks and a hit batter to load the bases with reliever Kirt Birkins in for relief. Birkins did not provide any as he gave up a grand slam to Miguel Gallardo, the first ever in the championship game.

Finally, El Camino Real brought in Shaun Fishman in the third after Banning had gone up 9-5. Fishman quieted the Banning bats and allowed El Camino Real to come back. In the fifth innings
 
 
 

Chatsworth Chancellors 5, Banning Pilots 3

Chatsworth made their second straight consolation game appearacnce at Dodger Stadium and won for the first time. Byron Griffin hit a home run for Banning, but the Chancellors got the win with good relief pitching from future major leaguer Steve Reed.
