Built in 1935, this
craftsman-style bungalow was built in Palo Alto as a sunny retreat from the San Francisco summer fog.
The living room incorporated
hardwood paneling and doors, etched-glass windows and a carved wood mantle rescued from the Flood mansion in Atherton when
its contents were sold at auction.
Over the years, each owner has improved this home while making sure that its original
rural charm was preserved.
