WOMEN'S 10K STRUB CLINIC RUN ON OAHU
Just a note of
thanks to the members of the Blue Knights and Hui Makai members for assisting in the Women 10k Strub Clinic run. The members
from the Blue Knights were Camel, Herb Lau and myself Glen Kamanao along with our sister club Hui Makai members, Charlie Pacheco
and Dean Nakasone. We were called up to assist them in this event and we step up to the plate and
did an outstanding job. They only wanted several bikes to assist in controlling the running lanes and five
bikes showed up. Only great comments came from the assistant coordinator on the run. Hey
we all got green shirts that said Volunteers. We had fun and it was great to see some of my old buddies
from the police department solo bike detail, Chester Kahalepulu and James Coursey, Solo bike Sergeants working the run.
See everyone
at the Saint Patrick Day Parade. Don’t forget to wear your Irish Green shirts.
Thanks,
Glen Kamanao
