Club History & Officers

HISTORY OF OUR CLUB

We are one of the chapters in Blue Knights® International.

We recieved our charter in December 2002. In the beginning, there were just two members on Maui, namely Bobby Hill and Paul Oda, who were Blue Knights® Hawaii members at-large. While on a Labor Day motorcycle ride on the Big Island, Bobby Hill informed Bob Post about the Blue Knights®, which eventually enticed Bob to became a Hawaii member at-large. He started working on getting at least seven more members so a chapter could be formed. Bobby Hill and Bob Post came up with enough members on Maui and the Big Island to get our charter Blue Knights® Hawaii I.

By 2003, Bob Post and Bobby Hill as well as the rest of the members had recruited members on Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. Thanks to a lot of hard work by Camel (first Oahu member) and Bobby Hill, our Chapter doubled in the first year.
