January 28, 1998: Nancy Gillahan, a fourth grade teacher at Big Creek Elementary School, presented a description of the Berea area history program taught in the Berea School district. She has updated, revised and restructured the course, which had been created in the 1960. She created new classroom materials, teaching guides, and a collection of about 300 slides, some reclaimed from the original program and some current ones of historic sites.
