![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This completely retired village has become very popular on the secondary market. The buildings don't seem to be selling well, but the elves have taken off in the last few months. Designed by Sandra Ziminicki, it features lighted musical buildings (called night-lights by Enesco) that show the exterior on one side and the interior on the other. In general, all of the buildings in the regular line are porcelain and the accessories are cold cast. The buildings are 7-8 " high. There were also four mini vignettes featuring cold cast buildings and pewter accessories. The pieces in these sets were miniature duplicates of some of the pieces in the regular line. In addition to the village pieces, there were two series of ornaments called "Wee Tree Trimmers," (one dated and one undated) several music boxes, a waterglobe, and a couple of unclassified pieces. Because there are so many pieces in this set, I don't have enough web space for thumbnails and descriptions, so I have placed all of them in a photopoint album. To go to it, click here. Wee Tree Trimmers After the first three ornaments were produced, the box was redesigned... The cellophane window that allowed you to see the actual ornament was discontinued, and a photo of the ornament took its place. The colors in the decorative bands around the box were also modified.
