I'll Be Home for Christmas. This is a collection of
Christmas memories during World War II taken from the collections of the
Library of Congress. Full of magazine articles, original art, personal
remembrances, and photographs, this is a very moving book. One of the
things I love about the villages is the nostalgic look back at times past
(in our imaginations if not in reality). This book gives you the same
experience, and I read it from cover to cover in one sitting. For
anyone who loves Christmas and history, I can't recommend this book highly
enough.
