Our first dog - Bret was found through an ad in Outdoor Life & flown in from Kansas.  He was an excellent bird dog that loved to retrieve.

After he arrived, we found the Minnesota Brittany Club. Bret was Best of Breed at their Specialty A Match.  He went a bit oversize so never was shown beyond that show.  He competed a few times in the field, but being a high powered dog & our first dog, we never broke into the winners circle.

He sired some excellent bird dogs & remained the family companion & hunting dog throughout his long life.
