The seidi continue to live
although forgotten by the darkness
Its reflection seen on the water's
surface
shimmering,
telling stories
from a long time ago -
events from ancient times
are still shining.
Now there is hardly anyone
believing in it
since it has been forbidden
and condemned to die.

Sami drum symbol

Becquerel, cesium
the wind introduced us
even though the distance seemed far
between Chernobyl and Sápmi
borders were no hindrance

Drawing from Saami drum

dawn breaks
thoughts are rested
all is new
like the first step
of a reindeer calf

Note: Seidi is a sacred rock or place.
