The ArchiDETAILS System - The most productive addition you can make to your Vectorworks
detail library!
In 1993 ArchiDETAILS made it's debut in the MiniCAD world as the first comprehensive architectural construction
detail library. It contained over 100 pre-drawn details, plus the subcomponents of each detail that permit easy, "snap together"
capability in the construction and modification of architectural details. Also available at the time was the complete collection
of the American Woodworking Institute's standard molding profiles. In addition to this comprehensive set of tools, ArchiDETAILS
also represented a well-organized detail drawing and management strategy that would help a new CAD user "hit the ground running"
in the production of construction documents, as well as be a fine addition to any Architect's existing detail library. Now,
ten years later and with a new generation of Vectorworks users to respond to, the ArchiDETAILS System is
available once again with additional details, as well as an update to the previous collection to reflect the latest residential
energy codes and framing standards. Either use the details as drawn along with any of your job-specific modifications, or
create your own using the individual elements such as batt insulation, glass block and hollow metal door frames. Sub-components
are grouped and color-coded for easy modification. Also included with this system are pre-formatted drawing sheets with title
blocks in a range of standard architectural sheet sizes.
