I'm a linguistics professor in the English Department
of the College of Humanities of the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras. My primary research and teaching interests are:
language policy and planning, bilingualism, language awareness, language acquisition, language and gender, and teaching English
as a Second Language.
