About AOMAA AOMAA is a non-profit corporation registered in California USA. Laurence Rattay, President Emeritus, started AOMAA in Chicago in 1962. AOMAA was a highly awarded 501 c 3 non-profit in Illinois until 2004, and then was reincorporated in California in 2005 as the successor non-profit organization. Our priority is to provide DIRECT AID, materials, and services to recipients in need; technical advisement and capacity building for local non-profit organizations; and advocacy for local professionals working to alleviate poverty and suffering, with special concern for those in rural areas in America and abroad. AOMAA is an Associate Member of Susila Dharma International Association, which has consultative status with ECOSOC, the Economic and Social Council of the UN. |
