He m'd (2) Jan 1, 1883 at Waterville, Me., Mary Deborah Metcalf, a sister to Abbie Jane, b Apr 10, 1860 at Albion, Me., d. __________ at So. China, Me.

He died on the farm from either a electrical shock or heart attack. At the time, he was operating the farm and had only been married about a month. They had no issue.

William3 Owen's daughter, Lila4 (Farrington) Mansfield, said that her father wouldn't work with horses so owned a pair of oxen named "Star" and "Bright". One of the oxen had a white star shape on his forehead.
