Earliest ancestors are Robert Mansfield born about 1594 and died 1666 in Lynn, MA. and Elizabeth (unknown but perhaps Townsend) born about 1586 and died 1673 in Lynn, MA. Most of the descendants included at this site migrated to locations in Maine including Chebeague Island and Jonesport. Within the Mansfield line are many marriages to the Carvers who descended from Robert Carver born about 1594 in England.
