Each of these genealogical lines trace their roots from the British Isles to Colonial Massachusetts, arriving during the 1600s. They settled in towns like Barnstable, Dedham, Duxbury, Lexington, Lynn, Marshfield, Salem, Salisbury, and Watertown. Many of these families continued north to Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont during the early 1700s.
