Denio special on National Public Radio's All Things Considered (January, 1999)

Italian National Radio's Pino Saulo commissioned Denio to "write a piece with a theme - you know, like fishing, or water..." for his AudioBox series. In The Seattle Sound, Denio worked with the innate tonality of Seattle field recordings, and composed a 15-minute piece. Premiered on RAI3 in December, 1995, and broadcast in most European countries as well.
