The Alpha Wave Movement release "Concept of Motion" is now available for a very limited time at CD Baby. This is the third full length AWM release from 1998 and with it arrived with a more diverse sound from ambient techno to a tinge of new age tho I will use that genre description very loosely it does adhere to at least some of the music. The re-release contains a bonus track recorded a few years later that was never officially released. COM has also aquired a new facelift with new artwork that is justifiably warranted.

Concept of Motion cds are limited and at this time might not be repressed again, This title was originally released on Groove Unlimited and has been out of circulation for many years.

Currently work is being conducted on the next Alpha Wave Movement cd to be released in the coming months so please come back and visit for more information.

The first release of 2009 will be a brand new and long awaited Open Canvas cd.

The new Open Canvas release is a sonic navigation thru the world of Pan-Indo-Eastern rhythms and melodies. There is a strong tie to Indumani in the sense it is a very uptempo and lively release only this time around the globe there are a few more ambient tracks which will still retain that Open Canvas ethnic flavor. Elements of dub, indian instrumentation such as the sitar and tambura are featured throughout the release. Also featured is a bit of Asian flavored string instruments and gong percussion all done electronically on synthesizer of course. Expect this release by February 2009.

The second release for 2009 will be a new Alpha Wave Movement cd featuring deep long extended musical journeys for space music afficionados. The cd is yet untitled but the music has all been recorded. Fans of the Alpha Wave Movement release "A Distant Signal" will enjoy the continuation of music styles which will prevail on this release.

Finally at years end there is the possibility of a second Alpha Wave Movement release which is tentatively titled "Variant" for the sole reason that this music will not be space music but more cinematic with a film like quality and a undulating rhythmic element. Work on this release is at the halfway mark and the potential for release is quite good.

In mid July the audio portion of DVD Terra will be released on cd with new artwork and a bonus track inspired by the grandious visuals from the dvd. The mp3 samples will be availble to listen to in the next few days so please stop by.

If you have problems linking to the I-Tunes store give it another try in a day or two as it takes I-Tunes a few days to get the cd ready for download even tho the links is readily available. If you own the orginal version on Groove Unlimited you might want to pick up the new version availble on I-Tunes for the bonus track and corrected audio glitch(minor glitch on the original release!).
