Boarding

Facilities include:
Grass Dressage arena (20mx40m.)  Jumping field with stadium fences and cross country fences.  Grass turnout.  10x12 and 12x12 matted stalls.

Our farm is fairly basic, with electric fence (three strands of high visibility tape) and a couple of round pen panel type paddocks available as well.  We have two 1/2 acre pastures which we rotational graze so that the animals always have grass.  Our dressage arena is not quite flat, but there is a flat area for longing at one end.  Everything is horse safe.  The soil under the grass is sandy, so we have good footing in the rings most of the time.

We feed five times a day, quality timothy mix hay and Blue Seal Feed.  I feed Strider, Vintage Senior and Vintage Victory plus beet pulp and alfalfa/timothy cubes.  Grain feeding at 7am, hay with turnout at 8am, hay at noon, grain with turn-in at 5, hay at 7pm.  You supply supplements.  We de-worm every 8 weeks and will bill you for this.

During the winter, turnout is from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  In the summer, they usually stay out longer (8-5.)  There is one stall available for optional in and out 24 hours a day.  You supply fly spray and blankets, we will apply them.

I have more than 30 years experience with horses and am on the premises most of the time.  Your horse will receive the best care possible.

Board as of March 1st, 2007 - $300/month.
